About

The Giuliano Argenti Files (https://giulianoargenti.com) is a record of the conduct of Giuliano Argenti, who many people online know as “Gilly”. Some of it happened in public, on streams and posts. Some of it happened behind the scenes, in Discord servers, group chats and DMs, and came out later when people he’d dealt with spoke up or shared what he’d sent them. Each post deals with one thing. We set out what happened, put the original material alongside it, and explain why we think it matters.

Why bother? Because he has an audience, and how someone with an audience treats people, in public or in private messages, can affect real lives. Clips get cut, screenshots get passed around without context, and things get forgotten. We’d rather people could see the whole thing in one place and make up their own minds.

We’re not here to pick through his personal life for the sake of it. Something only goes on the site if it’s about how he’s treated other people or what he’s said and done within the community. Our Editorial Standards page explains where we draw that line.

Some of what we publish comes from people who’ve spoken to us in confidence. They’re protected. We won’t name them, and we’re careful not to publish anything that could give them away.

If you’re named on the site and want to respond, or you’ve spotted a mistake, email [email protected]. Fair replies get added to the post, and corrections are logged on our Corrections page. And if you know something you think we should look at, that address works for that too. We’ll treat it in confidence.
